For more than a century, innumerable artists and celebrities have come in search of the quiet and calm to be found between lake and mountains, between Montreux and Gstaad… and never far from the railroad linking them to these places.
If ever you climbed into this train, and all along the trip let your imagination lose itself in the waters of the lake and the foliage of the forests, perhaps you might suddenly have strange visions: in the train, on the station platforms, on the chalet and palace hotel balconies, famous artists speak, play, sing and dance. Montreux suddenly takes on airs of Paris, and Rougemont merges with Broadway. Skiers dance, while yodelers become opera tenors. This is a unique encounter with the legends of the cinema and the legends of the mountains, between the grandeur of show business history and the human stories of our valleys.
